Between tradition and luxury
The namesake for our Premium Alpine Chalets comes from the family: Our uncle Alexander “Xonna”, who unfortunately died much too early, once built his house here – without a crane or a path. High above the mountain village, exactly where “Innergebirg” and “Hohe Tauern” are now enthroned, he spent many happy years and laid a beautiful foundation for our ONKL XONNA Chalets.
A family affair
What ONKL XONNA started, is continued by us – Sonja and Christian Viehhauser – with our Premium Alpine Chalets. With exclusive furnishings and modern design, we master the balancing act between tradition and contemporary luxury. For the perfect holiday experience we focus on maximum, but unobtrusive service.
True to our home and nature
Our home, the mountain village of Hüttschlag, about 8 km from Grossarl, is part of the largest national park in the Alps, the Hohe Tauern National Park. In summer you can explore the proud mountains on foot or by bike. During winter, Hüttschlag is a paradise, especially for cross-country skiers, winter hikers and ski tourers.
