Beautiful nature wherever you look
The Grossarltal (Grossarl Valley), about 70 km south of the Mozart city of Salzburg, is also known as the valley of huts: With around 40 managed alpine huts around Grossarl and Hüttschlag, amazing regional food is provided while hiking and cycling. The beautiful view from the mountain peaks and the breathtaking natural scenery is a highlight in its own right on every ascent.
A paradise for the active
The mountain village of Hüttschlag in the Hohe Tauern National Park awaits you: In summer, the best way to explore the mountains is on foot or by bike. During winter, Hüttschlag at the entrance to the Hohe Tauern National Park is a true paradise for cross-country skiers, winter hikers and ski tourers.
